We make fun of the dog, cause he is afraid of the cat.
Even if you bribe him with some treats (chips...which I wouldn't ordinarily give to the dog but was trying to prove the point that he is big pussy!) he is afraid to come and see the momma, cause the big mean cat is....well, right there!
I even sweetened the deal with the dog toy AND a bigger chip. It only took 15 minutes for him to eat the chip...and he didn't even pee. It was a proud moment.
You see, this is what football does to us. By the time the daddy is actually home, all he cares about is the TV, therefore the poor animals are harassed. Good thing for Aunt Brookie and Carson, they went to the zoo with us last Sunday. Imagine how much peace and quiet the daddy had...

I think it's hilarious your dog is afraid of the cat!
My parents dogs are afraid of their cat and the cat knows it. There are times when she will sit by the water bowl and stare them down so they don't go any where near it. It is hilarious to watch.
